It is a challenge for students to receive their recommended 60 minutes of physical activity a day. It is critical that as educators we not only nurture the mind but also the body. We need to teach the youth of today how important physical activity and physical literacy is. Therefore…
• Club Jump staff want to offer you and your students a full year fitness blast with our
“POWER HOUR” program!
• We offer class trips to our facility where we will provide an hour of fitness and gymnastics!
• We also want to come into your school and introduce the youth of today to the wonderful
world of physical fitness!
This introductory class will incorporate movement, stretching, footwork, endurance building and a lot of fun!!
We will come to your school and either work outside weather permitting or indoors in the gym. We will incorporate a full warm with a high intensity interval training such as Tabata. We will follow up with stretching. We will then split up into smaller groups and use multiple circuits and stations. Each area will focus on a different style of training such as general strength straining using body resistance, foot work drills for speed and agility, balance and coordination with low beams and mats, and plyometrics with steps.
We will set up an obstacle course and complete within our smaller groups prior to cool down.
We will re-group at the end for a cool down final stretch and mini yoga session.
